This is a wonderful random act of kindness from my co-worker, our reader, and FRIEND!
Thanks for the support, Rita!
You have an awesome, HUGE HEART and you know the way to mine :)
XOXO!
Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 6:34 AM Last year, we attempted to plant our first garden.
Last year, our first garden died. Mostly because we did not install a drip system and after going out of town for a week, it died from being super dehydrated in the scorching hot Arizona sun.
So, this year, prior to planting a new garden, my husband got smart and added the drip system.
In our garden this year, we have:
As shown in the pictures above, we have a planter that my husband built using brick on the left and on the right, my husband added this planter. If you have ever had a garden before, you know that when things begin to grow... they begin to GROW! So, we opted for this planter devoted exclusively to tomatoes.
The fencing is my husband's idea and meant to keep the pooch out of the garden. We found out last year that she is keen on veggies.
Stay tuned for my garden growing updates.
Do you have any tips for growing a garden in Arizona successfully?
Thanks!
Monday, March 18, 2013 at 6:00 AM Today's mani feature is Essie's Madison Ave-Hue
In tribute to Spring, the wonderful weather, and playing off of Kelli's car/lunch mani, I give to you... a Grass Mani :)
But, I do not recommend this at home, or you will have grass nails like mine.
However, I do recommend this nail hue. Super cute and very Spring :)
Thoughts?
Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 6:00 AM Remember last weekend when it was cold... and now it isn't?!? Well, this is what I wore...
Sticking true to my theme... remember, I LOVE theme's... I am wearing Lauren Conrad.
Typically, I am not a "red" fan. Buut, I LOVE the back on this shirt. How cute is this lace?!?!
With an oatmeal colored tank, leggings, and my go-to boots, I pretty much felt like I could live in this one :)
But, I cheated! I don't have long oatmeal colored socks! So, I cut an old pair of hospital socks that I had from when I had one of my babies and covered my other pair. What do you think?
Lauren Conrad Shirt: Kohls, $12 (Clearance! Bought with this)
Tank: Kohls, $6
Leggings: $8, Styles for Less
Socks: Free!
