Seasonal Scents To Make You Happy

Have you ever heard of Scentsy?

Well, if you haven't, Scentsy is a series of flameless candles.  Yes...I said flameless candles...which technically makes them wax warmers, I guess.

A few years ago, my brother-in-law and his wife had a housefire that was caused by a candle that was left burning, and ever since, I've been hesitant to burn candles in my home.  Even when I'm home, it makes me nervous.  I always picture my cats knocking them over, or a fan blowing something flammable just close enough to catch that first little spark.

Ugh...just the thought of fire damage makes me sick to my stomach!

But, sometimes you just want to fill your home with a lovely fragrance to freshen things up.  Especially when you're a pet owner...

I can't even tell you how many plug-in air fresheners we've gone through, and we even tried the Glade Expression oil diffusers.  As much as I like these products, I'll be the first to admit that they're a money-pit.  30 days may sound like a long time, but I guess time flies when your home smells good...so it seems like we're changing the cartridge practically every week!

I have a coworker who is a rep for Scentsy warmers, and it's taken me a while to finally brave up and try these warmers...but I'm happy to say that I've placed my first order.

It was definitely an investment, but here's my thinking...I'm pretty sure that over the years I have spent more money on air-freshener products than what I spent on my Scentsy order.  The thing with Scentsy is that you can keep reusing the wax over-and-over.  Plus, since Scentsy is more like a candle, you treat it like a candle...meaning, you only warm the wax when you want to enjoy the scent, which is much more efficient than a plug-in that goes full-time.

So, I'm giving it a shot and we'll see how it goes...

Before I placed my order, I smelled every single scent in Montanna's sample bag.  Even though there were probably over 100 scents in that bag, my nose was up for the challenge!  Some scents were amazing, others made my nostrils burn...but as I sniffed, I thought of you...

Yes, I thought of you as I came across scents that were perfect for the upcoming seasons.  And, because smelling over 100 scents is probably not something that you'd like to spend time doing, I've made a list of the best Scentsy scents for fall...

So, if you're in the market for a Scentsy warmer, or if you already own one and are looking for some great fall scents for this year's season...these are the ones I'd recommend:

Clove Cinnamon

Cozy Fireside

Apple Press

Pumpkin Marshmallow

Sticky Cinnamon Bun

Baked Apple Pie

Amber Road

Sentimental Cider

Cinnamon Vanilla

Welcome Home

Cinnamon Bear

Pumpkin Roll

Honey Pear Cider

Autumn Sunset

Quiver

Ace

Embers

Mocha Doodle

Now, if you're very proactive and you're already planning the decorations for your Christmas tree, then you might try a few of these scents for the wintery months:

Iced Pine

Christmas Cottage

Wishing Well

Welcome Home

White Out

Festival of Trees

Silver Bells

Snowberry

Eskimo Kiss

Since this was my first order, I kept my scents season-neutral.  I ordered three scents that were fresh and clean, rather than spicy.  The warmers I chose were also designs that will work with my decor all year long.  I chose a warmer from the "Silhouette" collection...can you guess which one?  I guess you'll just have to wait and see...

Leave me a comment to let me know which one you think I picked.  They're all great, but there were two that really spoke to my personal style.  It was tough to choose just one!
