Reader Spotlight: Jen's Homemade Gift Card

Happy Thursday!

Today I wanted to share a simple way to spruce up a gift card, thanks to my friend Jen.  When it comes to my social circle, there are two people whom I would award the title, "Scrapbook Extraordinaire," and they are my mother-in-law, and my friend Jen.

This little card is something that Jen put together for a coworker who was giving a recent high school graduate a little gift for their future.

I thought this was a great idea because it is a simple enough addition to any card. Even store-bought cards could be customized by attaching a little pocket inside, and simply changing the size of the pocket could even work to give someone a gift of cash!

A big thanks goes out to Jen for sharing this idea with us, and helping us all to be better gift-givers.  Now I can't wait for an opportunity to give out a gift card.  No one can say that a gift card is not a personalized gift when it's presented in such a personalized way!
