Wow, what a week! It's been a whirlwind to say the least, and I know one little girl (aka, me) who is really excited it's a three-day-weekend!
Anyone else out there ready for some down time?
Well, before we head into the weekend, I just wanted to find out if you guys have already browsed through the new Ikea catalog?
I've been browsing through it's pages for the past two days...and let me just tell you...I wish that I lived at Ikea!
I mean, seriously...
Haven't you ever wondered what it would be like to slip inside one of the wardrobes on display, then sneak out once everything had closed down for the night?
Can't you just imagine how cool it would be to act like the display kitchen was your very own kitchen, and the display bedroom was your very own bedroom, and the display closet was your very own closet....???
And talk about an amazingly cool fantasy of living in a house with five kitchens, six living rooms, and eight bedrooms!
Hmmm...is it just me?
Regardless of if I stand alone on this, or if there are more of you out there who, like me, get more wild-hair ideas than you're comfortable admitting, I'm still going to share a few of my favorite new products that rolled out this year.
PS...the image description is hyperlinked in case you want to find one of these items on the Ikea website itself.
As excited as I am to see all of the new products, I must say...I've never seen Ikea so disheveled in my life! When I ran by the store the other day (to pick up a few succulent plants for a project that's coming up!), everything was scattered, or blocked by these large tarps...
Just look at how empty the plant & outdoor accessory area was...
You know something big is happening when there is actually room to move your cart around at Ikea!
Well, I can't wait to see all of the new catalog items in person, and I also can't wait to show you all the latest project I have in the works. I'll give you a hint...it involves succulent plants, glass jars, and one of the most awkward places to decorate in my home. More details coming later this week.
Thanks for stopping by!
