11 Etsy Finds for Your Holiday Shopping

Holy smokes!

I can’t believe that it’s already the holiday season!  Not to mention the fact that one of the major holidays has already come and gone!  It’s crazy how time just seems to fly by these days, but I’m taking it as a good sign because it must mean that I’ve been keeping myself pretty busy lately.

With Thanksgiving now behind us it’s finally time to transition into the main event of the year – Christmas!  It’s the time we all wait for anxiously, plan for constantly, and fill up Pinterest boards for starting in June. 

I’m in love with everything about the holiday season … except for one tiny thing … shopping.  I love decorating, I love baking, and I love the exchanging of gifts; but, I absolutely cannot stand the mad-rush to the department stores, long-lines, and short tempers!

This year, to keep my sanity, I have vowed to avoid major retail locations as much as possible between Thanksgiving and January 1^st.  I’ll stare Black Friday deals in the face, without blinking, and tell them to tempt someone else.  I’ll ignore ads screaming, 20% OFF, or Buy-One-Get-One FREE!

Yep … my trigger finger is on the “delete” key waiting anxiously for an unsuspecting ad to wander aimlessly into my inbox.

Instead of fighting through crowds at major retail outlets, this year I’ve decided to go homemade.  Not necessarily homemade by me … more like, homemade/small business … that way I’m doing my part to support the economy, and saving myself headaches at the same time!
