Let's play a game!
Today after work, I swung by the beauty shop to get me a little hair-cut-TLC, and much to my surprise a Ross store just happened to be in the same shopping center!
You know me...I can't resist a good window shop at a Ross store, but rather than just post all of my finds with little blurbs about each item, I thought I would make things more interesting.
You see, one of the items you are about to see actually came home with me tonight. Which one is it? That's what you've got to find out (or guess, either way)!
I feel like anyone who has been reading through my posts should be getting somewhat of an idea as to what I might find worthy to bring into my home decor...and so your job is to put those pieces together, gather what you know about me, and guess which one of these items made the cut.
Now, if we're going to play a game, there has to be some rules and a prize, right? So here's how this will work...if you think you know which item I bought (or even if you just want to guess), leave a comment to this post and let me know your choice and why you think that item might be the one. Only one entry per email address will be permitted, and you must be a registered member of this site to win (that way I can verify email addresses and keep things fair).
And the prize????
Anyone who chooses the right item will win a FREE Inspiration Board for one room in their home! Winners will be announced this Sunday. Sound good? Okay, let's play!
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 1??
This lovely plate was $3.99, and there was a set of four. Did I take this item home? Or...
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 2??
These bowls ranged from $6.99-12.99, and they reminded me of the bowl I used for this holiday gift basket I made. Did I take one of them home, or...
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 3??
The giant Zebra painting! I thought this was a pretty impressive painting, and it was only $69.99. Did I take it home, or...
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 4??
I loved this table mirror, and it was on sale for $34.99! Did I take it home, or...
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 5??
I thought this metal leaf ($9.99) could be spray painted in a bright color to make some great wall art. Did I buy this item, or...
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 6??
This starburst mirror was $14.99, and was in a finish that would look great in my master bedroom, but did this item make the cut? Or...
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 7??
I thought this tea kettle was extremely charming, especially with the ribbon...and it was on sale for $6.99, but did I buy it? Or...
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 8??
The wire lamps, which remind me of the lamps that I found at Home Goods a few months ago (love them!). These little guys were only $39.99, but did I take them to the register? Or...
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 9??
This beauty was $59.99, and it didn't even have any Ross scars on it (scatches, smudges, and tears). My favorite part was the storage compartment beneath the cusion (we all know that I'm in desparate need of storage around here)! Did I load this guy into the Jeep? Or...
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 10??
These gorgeous mirrored jewelry boxes were $12.99 for the little one, and $19.99 for the larger one. It was difficult to get a good photo, but they were lovely! Did they come home with me, or...
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 11??
I dream of gini (and having my own gini lamp)! I thought this little guy ($9.99) would be really neat if it was spray-painted with a bright color, or even with white. I think it's actually an oil lamp, but it reminds me of Aladdin! Did I buy it to see if I could get three wishes, or...
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 12??
This cute little frame was such a pretty color. It reminded me of the colors at the bridal shower I just decorated (click here, here, here, and here). Did I buy it to use as a wedding gift for the bride? Or...
DID I CHOOSE OPTION 13??
This ceramic candle lantern reminded me of some that I've seen on West Elm's website, only it was only $8.99. But was this the item that went from the shelf, to the cart, to the register, to my car, and all the way to casa-de-Uhrich?
Alright, everyone! Cast your votes! You've seen the items. You've read the previous posts. So tell me which item you think I chose, and why.
To reward those of you who read to the bottom of the post, here are some clues:
- The item I chose is intended to fit into the design plan for one of the rooms I have posted inspiration boards for. (you can see them here, here, and here)
- I did not choose the Zebra (so don't guess that one)
- The item I chose was a single item, meaning, it did not come in a set, pair, or group.
There are your clues...and just so you know, I'm going to laugh if anyone guesses the zebra painting! Be sure to check back on Sunday evening to see the correct answer, and find out who won. I will post the results as an update to this post.
