Introducing: The Best of Blogland

Hi All,

Looks like we're already starting a crazy week, but I thought I'd steal a moment to mention the new site content that I've added for your enjoyment!   Introducing....

I added this portion of the site because I wanted to link each of you to the plethora of great (and super-inspirational) ideas out there!  For me, inspiration is gained from many different sources, and I like to keep those sources as accessible as possible.

In my mind, I imagine the Idea Center to be a one-stop-shop for any reader's inspirational needs...but I also have accepted the fact that I am only one person, and it will take time for me to build up the library to the grandeur I am aiming for.  But this is what makes this new site content so phenomenal (in my opinion, at least),...there are millions of remarkable ideas that already exist out there in Blogland, and this section will allow me to introduce you to the ideas of others, as well as my own.

Like each of the libraries on this site, I will continue to add to the Best of Blogland galleries as I find impressive ideas worth sharing.  So far, I've added some fascinating projects from my "coworkers," in categories like Craft Projects, Refinishing Projects, Repurposing Projects, Sewing Projects, For the Kids, and many others.

Here are a few that were recently added:

This bathroom remodel, by Ronda of Batchelor's Way (BTW....she's my cuz, and introduced me to Blogland!) is featured in the Before and Afters category.  Ronda designed this space, and with the help of her husband, Les (who is a master builder of all things), they were able to transform their space into a tranquil retreat!

Not only does their renovation look amazing, it also won a competition from This Old House!  Way to go Ronda & Les!  Can't wait to see what the next project will be!

Though I don't have any babies yet, I thought that these "Baprons" were adorable!  The how-to instructions, from Craftiness is not Optional, have been added to the For the Kids category.

I think that bibs will be toast once mothers lay eyes on these ever-so-cute, easy-to-make, and super-functional Baprons that keep the mess off the baby (and look cute while doin' it)!

This project, brought to you from the Centsational Girl site, was added to the Repurposing Projects category because I loved how Kate turned this old footboard (that's right...from a bed...so smart!) into a message center!  Both fun, and functional...and that's a win-win!

This incredibly simple idea for hardware replacement, found at 320 Sycamore, was added to the Thinking Outside the Box category.  It just makes perfect sense to save the pennies you would spend on pricey hardware!

And this is one of my favorites...drilled pumpkins!  (Because I've never been a fan of crazy-faced jack-o-lanterns!)  I found this idea at the Crafty Nest blog, and added it to the Holidays category.

Trust me folks, these projects are just a small sample of the types of projects that have been added into the Best of Blogland library...and, as previously stated, the library will continue to grow as I stumble across new things.

There is one tiny catch though.  To view this content, you must be a registered member of my site. Membership is 100% free, but offers you access to additional site content (like the BoB content), email updates, and special promotional offers.  Click here to register, and then enjoy perusing the virtual streets of Blogland!
