Member Giveaway: $25.00 Target Gift Card

I'm a big fan of healthy competition.  Even if you're not one who's into competing for glory, perhaps you will still be excited about competing for a Target gift card. 

So here's the deal...

This blog was officially launched on April 10th, 2011...which means A Happy Place Called Home is still in the infancy stage.  Over the next few months, I would like to see the site grow.  I am a recent graduate who just had a lot of time open up (finally!), and I plan to use that time to share my creative adventures with you and your friends.  My challenge to each of you is to refer as many friends as possible by July 10, 2011 (our 3 month anniversary)!

GIVEAWAY SUMMARY:

This giveaway is to promote membership of this site.  Membership is free, and gives you access to email updates, special promotions, and RSS feeds.  I will also be adding more content to the site as I go along that will only be accessible to site members.

To participate, use the "Refer Friends" tab to submit the email addresses of your friends.  Once you have referred your friends, they will receive an email from A Happy Place Called Home telling them about the site.  For each friend that becomes a member, you earn 1 point.  When the competition is over, the person with the most points takes home the prize!

A Happy Place Called Home does not believe in spam; therefore, we will not contact your referrals beyond the initial email that is sent out.  To win the competition, you may want to follow up with your friends personally to spread the word, or send them a direct message by using the "Email Article" feature at the bottom of each blog post.  How you go about it is up to you!

When will the winner be announced?  7-13-2011

How many winners?  1

How do I enter?  Complete the Refer Friends Form (found in the Refer Friends tab) and provide the email addresses for your friends.

How many times can I enter?  Enter as many times as you want.  Refer as many friends as you want.  The more friends that become members, the better your chances to win!

How will the referrals be verified?  A Happy Place Called Home will verify the email addresses you provide against member account email addresses.  This means, if your friend registers with a different email address than the one you provide, the referral cannot be verified.  If the email address of a new member matches an email address you referred, you earn 1 point.

Does my own membership count as a referral?  Yes.  Each member will receive 1 point for their own membership.

How will I know who's winning?  Updates will be made each Sunday (except 7/10/2011) to track who's in the lead.

How will the winner be notified?  An update to this post on 7-13-2011.  The winner will also be contacted via email to collect a mailing address to send the gift-card.  Please be sure that the email address you provide is one you check frequently.  If A Happy Place Called Home cannot reach the winner within 5 days of the announcement, the prize will be given to the runner-up.

How will the winner receive the prize?  The gift card will be sent via certified mail
