Well, this one's easy!  I've actually had an interest in interior design since I was in Jr. High.  During my 8th grade year we had nine-week rotational classes, and one of them happened to be drafting.  Those nine weeks sure flew by fast, but boy did they leave a mark on me!

In that class we were able to hand-draft a house using graph-paper.  It was then that I became fascinated by the concept of space, form, and function.  After that, I began rearranging my bedroom's furniture layout on almost a monthly basis.

Though I was always interested in the concept of interior design, it did take me a while to figure out that there were actually careers within this field.  For some reason I just couldn't believe that people get paid to have this much fun!  Once I realized that this could be more than just an interest, I started looking into colleges that offered interior design programs.  The rest is history!
